I’m really curious, but also nervous, can you walk me through what a session with you is like?
I start every session with a guided mediation with the intent of grounding, releasing, cleansing, and raising your energy vibration. This guided meditation is also my first insight into tuning into your energy field. From there I’ll begin pulling cards from a deck I feel guided to based on your energy and what messages need to come up. We may dig deeper into these initial card pulls and layer on top of them with another deck, or instead shift focus to other messaging needing to come up along with any questions you may have.
Every session should leave you feeling peaceful, empowered, with a better outlook on life and understanding of the challenges facing you, and a sense of what the future holds for you.
What does it feel like for you as the reader to do readings?
While everyones energy is unique to step into, for me it generally feels like direct access into your soul and being able to see who you really are without all the messy human stuff in the way. It essentially feels like I get to meet the real you, an experience that humbles me every time I have the pleasure of doing a reading.
I find it liberating knowing the future is never set in stone and I instead see it as threads of energy based on the choices made, desires, habits and overall energy patterns. Because I focus the intent of all of my readings to be for your highest good, it helps me narrow into the energy thread that will best achieve that for you. If the path you’re currently following isn’t one that’s serving you, I get insight into the frustration blocking you and can then share new ways and solutions for you to shift the energy and allow for a much more desirable outcome.
I’m a little scared to have my cards read and what might come up. For example, what does the Death Card mean?
This is a really common feeling if you’ve never had a Tarot card reading before, so know you’re not alone with this fear.
There are a few shadow cards in the deck that can make people feel weary and uncomfortable, like the Death card and fear that the reading is going to bring up the death of you or a loved one. While this specific card can seem a bit scary, its most often association with the end of an era scenario, and very much death and rebirth like quitting a job, a significant move. Leading the Death card to most commonly indicate the end of a chapter in your life of some sort.
I’m always happy to go over the meanings of any other cards you might feel intimidated by before the start of a session together. Leaving a session with me should always have you feeling peaceful, empowered and excited about your life.
Can my Tarot card reading be done virtually?
Absolutely! Nearly half of my readings are done virtually over Zoom. One of the many wonderful things about doing energy work is that we don’t need to be in the same room or physical location for me to tune into your energy field and receive messages needed for you.
I also take pictures of the cards pulled during the session and email them to you afterwards for additional reflection.
Aside from virtual sessions can I book an in person session with you?
I offer in person readings out of Practical Magick located in Essex Junction, VT on the weekends by appointment.
Can I book you do to readings at my event?
Absolutely!
I have experience doing event readings at birthday parties, bachelorettes, holiday parties, women’s retreats, boutique events, work events, markets, festivals, and even in the occasional bar and tattoo shop.
